Material Handling
Belt Conveyor: Transports material horizontally or at a small incline via a belt driven by rollers. Standard type: belt width 500–1400 mm; high-inclination pocket belt type (0–90°) can lift. Selection: belt width = 3–4× max lump size; belt speed 1.0–2.5 m/s (lower for slag); system capacity ≥250% of boiler slag discharge rate.
Scrubber Conveyor (Buried Scraper Conveyor): Moves material in a enclosed housing with scraper chains, horizontal or ≤30° incline. Used between slag cooler and bucket elevator. Wear-resistant, high-temperature design. Chain speed 0.05–0.5 m/s; operating temperature ≤250°C (higher on request); fully enclosed for dust control.
Bucket Elevator: Vertical transport. NE series plate-chain type; temperature ≤250°C; lifting height ≤40 m; self-flow feeding, gravity discharge. Select heavy-duty plate chain to withstand abrasion. Install backstop device to prevent reverse rotation at high lifts.
Screw Conveyor: Moves material with rotating screw blades, horizontal or ≤30° incline, short distance, small flow / transitional ash discharge. Temperature ≤200°C. Use wear-resistant blades (flat steel / cast iron); large diameter, low speed. For high-temperature service, bearings and seals require heat-resistant treatment.
